Tip: oiled full-grain leather can be conditioned by hand. Rub away small marks with the palm of your hand: the warmth of your hand brings the oils to the surface and evens out the finish. Once or twice a year, apply a thin layer of colorless conditioning balm, especially to the wrist strap, which sees the most use. Avoid excessive water and direct heat.

Can I keep my tablet case on?
Yes, in most cases. With its approximately 3 cm thickness, the OPUS pouch offers slightly more volume than a fitted zippered case: it accommodates the tablet on its own or protected by a slim case. However, a very thick reinforced case or a keyboard case may prevent the zipper from closing properly and strain the leather at the corners. A good rule of thumb: close it slowly the first time while guiding the slider, and check that the zipper glides effortlessly. If it feels tight, remove the case: the 2 mm leather and velvet lining already provide excellent protection.
What is the wrist strap for?
The leather wrist strap is a short strap that fits around the wrist. It keeps the pouch secure when your hands are full or when a drop could be unfortunate: at a train station, in an airport, on a construction site visit, or at a trade show. Its length is adjustable, and it fastens with a snap button loop, allowing you to adjust it to your wrist or fold it against the pouch when it is not needed. It also provides a practical grip for removing the pouch from a bag or hanging it up briefly.
How do I care for oiled full-grain leather?
This oiled full-grain cowhide is durable and requires little maintenance. Small marks can generally be rubbed away with the palm of your hand, as the warmth of your hand brings the oils to the surface. Once or twice a year, apply a thin layer of colorless conditioning balm with a soft cloth, let it penetrate, then buff it, paying particular attention to the wrist strap and the edges of the zipper. Avoid household products, excessive water, and direct heat. If the pouch gets wet, let it dry naturally, opened. Over time, the leather will darken slightly and develop a patina.

No. The Voyageur OPUS pouch is sold on its own: the tablet and stylus shown in the photos are for illustrative purposes only and are not included. You will receive the pouch in dark brown oiled full-grain cowhide, with its gray velvet lining, interior stylus holder, and adjustable wrist strap. Laser engraving can be added if you request it, with the first engraving free.
