The Stellar Orion pays homage to one of the great iconic chandeliers of 1950s Italian design. Its spherical structure, from which 18, 30 or 50 star-shaped metal arms radiate, holds an equal number of E14 bulbs that sparkle like a suspended constellation. No diffuser, no lampshade: the raw light from each bulb is amplified by the reflections of the chrome-plated metal structure, creating spectacular lighting and an incomparable architectural presence. Available in 3 sizes (depending on the number of bulbs) and 3 finishes: Ebony Black, Mirror Silver, or Imperial Gold. Adjustable cable 110-200 cm. E14 compatible. Free shipping. Customer reviews 4.9/5.

The art of the suspended constellation
The Stellar Orion is inspired by an iconic Italian design object from the 1950s that revolutionized the traditional chandelier approach. Where classic chandeliers seek to diffuse a single light through crystals or lampshades, this original design embraces raw multiplication: as many metal arms as visible bulbs, without diffuser or concealment. The result is a stellar luminous sculpture where each bulb becomes an individual lighting point, and the whole forms a domestic constellation. The black electrical cables that run through the arms are also visible — a radical aesthetic choice that transforms technical functionality into a graphic element. This is the formal honesty characteristic of great Italian design.

Which size to choose for your space?

The 18-bulb (69 × 51 cm) is the versatile format: it is suitable for a standard residential living room, a 6-8 person dining room, a large office or a master bedroom (15-25 m²). The 30-bulb (88 × 72 cm) is designed for large spaces: large living room, hotel lobby, restaurant, reception hall (25-50 m²). The 50-bulb (100 × 88 cm) is a true architectural piece for an atrium, double-height loft, luxury hotel lobby or exceptional real estate opening (50 m² and above). Allow for a minimum ceiling height proportionate to each size (2.80 m / 3.20 m / 3.60 m respectively).

Bulb tip. Opt for warm white (2700-3000K) E14 LED bulbs, with an intensity of 200-300 lumens per bulb, in a candle or clear tube shape. As the bulbs are visible and numerous, choose them for their aesthetics as much as their function: visible filament Edison LEDs offer a warm vintage effect, classic candle LEDs preserve the traditional chandelier spirit. Multiplied by 18, 30, or 50, the total intensity becomes considerable (3600-15000 cumulative lumens) — a powerful main lighting source for large rooms.

Stellar Orion vs other sculptural suspensions? The Stellar Orion is our only monumental chandelier with a constellation of visible bulbs. Compared to other sculptural suspensions in the range (Arborescent Chandelier, Brass Gold, Saturn, MELT, etc.), it stands out for its multiplicity of star-shaped bulbs and its 1950s Italian design inspiration. Choose Stellar Orion for a spectacular architectural presence as a centerpiece, particularly suitable for large rooms, halls and atriums where its luminous constellation can fully flourish.

Installation and maintenance precautions. The Stellar Orion is an imposing chandelier that requires a robust ceiling fixation — ensure your ceiling can support the weight of the chandelier fully fitted with all its bulbs (especially for the 30 and 50 bulb models). Call a qualified electrician for installation. The standard adjustable cable from 110 to 200 cm covers most configurations, but for exceptional ceiling heights, an extension may be necessary. Multiple bulbs: factor in the initial cost of purchasing 18, 30, or 50 E14 LED bulbs (not included) as well as their periodic replacement in the long term.

Exceptional architectural design gift. The Stellar Orion is a gift for those ambitiously renovating a large space or inaugurating a major real estate project. The 18-bulb Ebony Black format offers a strong and contemporary presence. The 30-bulb Mirror Silver is a spectacular decorative investment for a large living room or hall. The 50-bulb Imperial Gold is an absolute heritage piece for a hotel opening, high-end restaurant, or exceptional loft. It is the lighting fixture that definitively transforms the identity of a space.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many bulbs depending on the size of the Stellar Orion?
The Stellar Orion comes in 3 versions defined by their number of bulbs: 18 bulbs (L 69 × H 51 cm format) for standard residential rooms; 30 bulbs (L 88 × H 72 cm) for large spaces; 50 bulbs (L 100 × H 88 cm) for monumental architectural centerpieces. The more bulbs, the more spectacular the luminous constellation becomes, and the more powerful the overall lighting intensity.
Which finish to choose?
Ebony Black: strong graphic presence, maximum contrast with luminous bulbs, ideal in contemporary, masculine or industrial chic interiors. Mirror Silver: brilliant polished chrome, futuristic and high-tech look, multiplies the reflections of the bulbs for a kaleidoscopic effect, ideal in contemporary or Art Deco interiors. Imperial Gold: warm heritage glow, absolute sophistication, dialogues with Art Deco, warm mid-century or warm-dominant contemporary decors.
Why E14 bulbs and not E27?
The E14 is the socket for traditional candle-type bulbs — it's the historic format for large classic chandeliers. There are several reasons for this choice: aesthetics (E14 bulbs are smaller and more discreet to multiply without visual overload), functionality (each bulb is less powerful but the cumulative effect of 18, 30, or 50 bulbs creates generous lighting), historical (fidelity to the 1950s Italian design inspiration where E14 was the standard for chandeliers). You will easily find modern, high-performance E14 LEDs.
Which E14 LED bulb should I choose?
Opt for E14 LEDs in warm white (2700-3000 Kelvin), with an intensity of 200-300 lumens per bulb, in a candle shape or transparent Edison tube. Since there are many visible bulbs, their aesthetics are as important as their function. Classic candle LED: preserves the traditional spirit of the chandelier. Edison filament LED: warm vintage effect. Transparent tube LED: sleek modernity. Calculate the total intensity: 18 × 250 lumens = 4500 lumens, 50 × 250 = 12500 lumens — very powerful lighting for large spaces.
What is the minimum ceiling height?
The minimum ceiling height depends on the chosen size. 18 bulbs (51 cm chandelier height + 110-200 cm cable): minimum 2.40 m. 30 bulbs (72 cm height + cable): minimum 2.80 m. 50 bulbs (88 cm height + cable): minimum 3.20 m. For a comfortable clearance of 2.10 m below the bottom of the chandelier, adjust accordingly. The 30 and 50 bulb models are designed for architectural spaces with generous ceiling heights.
Is the installation complex?
The Stellar Orion is an imposing chandelier that requires robust ceiling fixing. For the 30 and 50 bulb models in particular, the weight of the chandelier filled with bulbs can be substantial. We strongly recommend using a qualified electrician for installation: checking the solidity of the ceiling support, bringing the wiring up to standard, precise height adjustment. The adjustable black cable can be adjusted at installation between 110 and 200 cm without additional tools.
How to maintain a 50-bulb chandelier?
Maintaining a large chandelier requires regularity but remains accessible. Regular dusting: use a telescopic duster or a soft, dry microfiber cloth to reach all arms and bulbs without disassembling. Occasional deep cleaning: remove bulbs one by one (after turning off and cooling), clean each socket with a dry cloth, dust the metal arms. For the Imperial Gold and Mirror Silver finishes, avoid abrasive cloths and solvents that could tarnish the plating.
