Each ECLAT BUBBLE globe is mouth-blown by a glass artisan. The age-old technique of glassblowing is here adapted to create bubbles with imperfect organic shapes — soft depressions, sculptural irregularities, variations in thickness — that capture light differently depending on the angle. No globe is strictly identical to another: each bears the signature of the hand that shaped it. It is this material authenticity that distinguishes hand-blown glass from industrially pressed glass: light lives, vibrates, and pulses through the variations in thickness.

How do you replace a damaged globe?
Replacement is simple: turn off the pendant light and let the bulb cool. Carefully unscrew the damaged globe from the mounting collar at the base of the socket. Carefully remove any remaining fragments. Screw the new ECLAT BUBBLE globe into place — it is positioned by simply rotating it. Detailed instructions are included with every order.

What bulb should I use in an ECLAT BUBBLE globe?
The standard E27 socket of the Lustre Arborescent accepts most LED bulbs, decorative Edison bulbs, or globe bulbs on the market. To reveal the beauty of the hand-blown glass, choose a 2700K warm white LED, a clear globe shape or an Edison bulb with an LED filament, with an intensity of 400–600 lumens per globe. Avoid traditional filament bulbs that generate too much heat — they can weaken the hand-blown glass over time.
