Prepare the Wood Magnet before first use

Moisten the interior — gently dab the cedar walls with a slightly damp cloth (distilled water only). Do not wet — just dab.

Attach the magnetic humidifier — fill it with distilled water and attach it to the internal metal plate of the lid. Position the hygrometer next to it. Close the humidor.

Wait 24 to 48 hours — open to check the hygrometer. Target: stable 65 to 70%. If insufficient, repeat the operation.

Place your cigars — reposition the humidifier and hygrometer according to the arrangement of your collection. The Wood Magnet is ready.
Distilled water only — never refill the humidifier with tap water. Limescale clogs humidification systems and can leave deposits on tobacco leaves. Check the hygrometer every 2 weeks and refill as soon as the rate drops below 65%.
