The case holds two watches, each closed around its cushion. According to the manufacturer's indications, it is suitable for standard-sized dials as well as large dials. The cushion adapts to leather, fabric, or metal bracelets, provided they can be fastened around it. For very thick watches or those with a protruding crown, simply check that the case closes without strain. The two slots allow you to carry watches for different occasions: a dress piece for dinners, a more robust or sporty watch for active days.

The dedicated compartment is designed for a rolled tie. Lay the tie flat, then roll it starting from the tip, loosely, until you obtain a soft roll. Then slide it into its slot: the silk relaxes naturally during travel, and the tie comes out without creases. Avoid folding it in half or in quarters, which permanently marks certain fabrics. Upon arrival, unroll it and hang it for a few minutes before tying it. This same compartment can also accommodate a small accessory, such as a bow tie or a folded pocket square.

It is genuine leather treated with oils and waxes, worked to obtain an aged and nuanced look. Its peculiarity: under pressure or friction, the shade lightens locally, then the marks blend into a patina that becomes richer over time. Each case evolves differently depending on its owner's use. This leather handles small scratches well, which often fade with a simple rub of the palm. It requires little maintenance: a colorless nourishing balm once or twice a year is enough to preserve its suppleness and depth of color.

The closure is secured by a magnetic snap in brass. Mechanical watches, whether automatic or manual-wind, can be sensitive to magnetic fields when placed directly against a magnet. As a precaution, ensure that no watch case rests against the clasp; the cushions normally hold the watches in their place. If you notice an unusual deviation in timekeeping, a watchmaker can demagnetize the movement in a few moments. Finally, wearers of pacemakers or defibrillators should avoid keeping the case against their chest.
