The INFUSIO CALICE is a cylindrical cigar infuser made of borosilicate glass that combines preservation, aromatic infusion, and presentation of your finest cigars. Glass & stainless steel Its vertical structure holds 3 to 5 cigars in an airtight transparent tube, while its infusion compartment at the base—separated by a stainless steel ring—receives a few centimeters of whisky, coffee, honey, or cognac, whose aromas slowly rise towards the cigars. At the top, a gold-rimmed analog hygrometer monitors humidity in real time. Compatible with a 69% two-way humidity control pack (not included) for optimal preservation even without infusion. Dimensions: ∅ 6.5 × 25 cm. As much a bar object as a preservation accessory—the CALICE displays your cigars like collector's items while preparing them for tasting.

Format

CYLINDRICAL — GLASS & STAINLESS STEEL
Borosilicate glass + stainless steel ring
∅ 6.5 × 25 cm — 3 to 5 cigars — integrated hygrometer — 69% pack compatible

Infusion beyond spirits

The CALICE opens up the field of aromatic infusion to substances that classic tubes do not allow. Its wider base compartment, compared to an individual tube, accommodates not only spirits (whisky, rum, cognac) but also freshly brewed coffee, liquid honey, vanilla essence, or even maple syrup. Volatile molecules rise in the airtight tube and gradually permeate the cigar wrapper.

The borosilicate glass used for the CALICE is the same as that used in laboratory equipment: resistant to thermal shock, chemically neutral (it does not alter the aromas of the spirit or the cigar), and perfectly transparent, showcasing the amber liquid at the base and the cigars above.

Why choose the CALICE

🥃
Multi-substance infusion
Whisky, rum, cognac, but also coffee, honey, vanilla. The base compartment accommodates all the aromas you wish to impart to your cigars.
📊
Integrated hygrometer
Gold-rimmed analog dial, embedded in the lid. Instant humidity reading without opening the tube.
🔬
Borosilicate glass
Same glass as laboratory equipment: resistant, chemically neutral, crystal-clear transparency. Does not alter any aromas.
📦
3 to 5 cigars
Generous capacity: infuse an entire batch of cigars simultaneously rather than one at a time. Ideal for preparing a tasting evening.
💧
69% pack compatible
Add a two-way humidity control pack (not included) to maintain 69% RH. The CALICE also serves as a storage humidor.
🎁
Spectacular bar object
The amber liquid at the base, the cigars standing upright above, brushed steel, and crystal glass: an accessory that catches every eye.
Visible alchemy

The CALICE owes its name to its silhouette: a vertical glass cylinder, flared at the base by the infusion compartment, girded by a brushed stainless steel ring with black accents. The transparent base reveals the amber liquid—golden whisky, dark coffee, luminous honey—while the cigars stand above like suspended tobacco columns. The visual effect is immediate: it's an object to be placed on a bar counter, a coffee table, or a smoking room shelf to be seen.

The stainless steel ring separating the liquid compartment from the cigar area plays a dual role: it prevents any direct contact between the cigars and the liquid, and it creates an aesthetic break between the two materials—clear glass at the top, brushed steel in the center, amber glass at the bottom. At the top, the black lid integrates the gold-dial hygrometer, visible from above through a transparent glass ring. Each material—borosilicate, steel, gold—is chosen for its durability and neutrality: nothing interferes with the infusion process, nothing yellows, nothing corrodes.

Infusion in 4 steps

1
Pour your aromatic substance into the base compartment—whisky, rum, cooled coffee, diluted honey, or cognac. Fill up to the level of the stainless steel ring, without exceeding it.
2
Insert your cigars—slide 3 to 5 cigars vertically into the tube. They rest on the separation ring which isolates them from the liquid. No direct contact.
3
Close and let infuse—place the lid-hygrometer. The sealed tube creates a closed environment in which aromatic vapors slowly envelop the cigars. Recommended duration: 24 to 72 hours.
4
Enjoy—remove a cigar, cut it, light it. The first puffs reveal the notes inherited from the infusion—vanilla from bourbon, roast from coffee, sweetness from honey. Savor the difference.

CALICE vs TWIN

Criterion INFUSIO CALICE INFUSIO TWIN
Format Single vertical cylinder Two tubes on acrylic base
Capacity 3 to 5 cigars 1 cigar per tube (2 total)
Material Borosilicate glass + stainless steel Glass + acrylic + stainless steel
Hygrometers 1 (lid integrated) 2 (one per tube)
Infusion Spirits, coffee, honey, vanilla… Mainly spirits
Control pack ✓ Compatible (not included)
Main use Batch infusion + storage Comparative infusion (2 spirits)
Dimensions ∅ 6.5 × 25 cm 18.5 cm high
Storage without infusion — The CALICE can also serve as a pure storage tube. Simply add a 69% two-way humidity control pack (8g type, not included) into the tube with your cigars. This pack absorbs excess humidity or releases it as needed, maintaining a constant level without intervention. Replace it every 2 to 3 months or when it hardens.
Original infusion ideas — Beyond classic whisky, explore surprising aromatic avenues: cooled espresso coffee for roasted and cocoa notes, diluted acacia honey for a floral sweetness, a few drops of vanilla extract for a creamy profile, or maple syrup for a sweet woody touch. Golden rule: always use quality products and in small quantities—aromas concentrate in the closed space of the tube.

Cigars and substances not included — The CALICE is delivered without cigars or infusion liquid. Visuals are for illustrative purposes only. Never fill the compartment beyond the stainless steel ring: the liquid must not come into direct contact with the cigars. For honey or syrup infusions, dilute them with a little distilled water to promote the evaporation of aromas. Clean the tube with lukewarm water between two different types of infusions. Borosilicate glass is resistant but not unbreakable—handle with care.

🎁 The gift for cigar explorers

The CALICE is a gift that surprises and intrigues. Even experienced aficionados rarely discover aromatic infusion—offering a CALICE is opening up a new territory of tasting. Ideal for a birthday, an original business gift, or a cigar evening with friends. Add a bottle of single malt or XO rum for a complete set.

Complete the ritual: pair it with a torch lighter and a cigar cutter. Also discover the INFUSIO TWIN for a comparative two-tube infusion.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between CALICE and TWIN?
The CALICE is a single, wider cylinder (∅ 6.5 cm) that holds 3 to 5 cigars simultaneously—ideal for infusing an entire batch before an evening. The TWIN features two individual tubes on an acrylic base, each for 1 cigar—ideal for comparing two spirits side-by-side. The CALICE also offers a wider range of infusions (coffee, honey, vanilla) thanks to its larger base compartment, and is compatible with a 69% humidity control pack (not included) for a dual preservation/infusion function.
Can you infuse with coffee or honey?
Yes, that's one of the CALICE's strengths. The base compartment accommodates cooled espresso coffee (roasted, cocoa notes), diluted liquid honey (floral sweetness), vanilla extract (creamy profile), or maple syrup (sweet woody). For honey and syrup, dilute them with a little distilled water to promote the evaporation of aromatic molecules. Coffee must be cooled to room temperature before pouring.
How long does an infusion last?
Allow 24 hours for a subtle infusion and up to 72 hours for a pronounced result. High-alcohol spirits (cask strength whisky, overproof rum) infuse faster than milder substances (honey, coffee). Cigars with light wrappers absorb aromas faster than dark wrappers. Monitor the hygrometer: if humidity rises too much, briefly open the lid to regulate.
Do the cigars touch the liquid?
No, never. The stainless steel ring creates a physical separation between the liquid compartment (base) and the cigar zone (top). The cigars rest on this ring and do not descend into the liquid. Only the aromatic vapors pass through the closed space and gradually permeate the wrapper by capillarity. If you overfill the compartment, the liquid could touch the cigars—respect the maximum level (below the ring).
Can a humidity control pack be added?
Yes, the CALICE is compatible with two-way humidity control packs (8g type, 69% RH, not included). This pack maintains ideal humidity by absorbing excess or releasing humidity as conditions require. Use it when you operate the CALICE in pure storage mode (without infusion liquid). Remove it during active infusions—the liquid generates its own humidity. Replace the pack every 2 to 3 months or when it hardens.
How to clean the CALICE between infusions?
Remove the lid-hygrometer (do not wet it). Empty the base compartment, rinse the entire tube with lukewarm water without detergent. For honey or syrup residues, add a drop of white vinegar to the rinsing water. Let it dry completely in the open air, tube inverted, before any reuse. Borosilicate glass does not retain odors—a good rinse is enough to eliminate any trace of the previous infusion.
What cigar formats are compatible?
The CALICE's interior diameter (approximately 6 cm) accommodates all classic formats: Corona, Robusto, Toro, Churchill, Lancero, Panatela, and even thicker formats like Gordo (60 ring gauge). However, the usable height of the cigar zone limits the length to about 17-18 cm—very long Double Coronas may exceed this. In width, count 3 Robusto cigars side-by-side, or 4-5 Petit Coronas.
