Seasoning (24 to 48 h): Before the first loading, place a container of distilled water in the closed box for 24 to 48 hours. The new cedar soaks up moisture — walls, bottom, and divider. Without this step, it would draw humidity from your cigars as soon as they are loaded.

Humidifier refilling: The humidifier is attached to the inner lid. Open the box, remove the humidifier, and fill it with distilled water only — never tap water. Wipe off any excess surface water before putting it back in place.
