Flint ignition — actuate the wheel with your thumb in a firm, quick downward motion. The flint spark ignites the gas — the torch flame lights immediately. Adjust the flame size with the adjustment dial, if present.

Light the cigar — bring the flame 1 cm from the foot, slowly rotate the cigar to evenly heat the entire surface. The torch flame heats without direct contact — wait until the foot is fully incandescent before drawing.

Replace the flint — unscrew the cap at the end of the lighter, remove the spring, slide in the new flint provided, replace the spring, and screw it back on. The operation takes less than 30 seconds.
