Distressed leather effect47 x 27 x 28 cm5 colors

The Jammy has that look of a bag that has traveled before you. Its material, a faux leather (PU) crafted with a distressed effect, features subtle marbling and nuanced highlights that recall luggage weathered by the years. Its duffel silhouette is structured by two straps that extend to the handles, and a woven shoulder strap, adjustable via a metal buckle, allows for shoulder carry. Under the base, small metal feet keep it off the ground when set down on a platform or in a hotel lobby. Inside, a fabric lining holds 20 to 35 liters of belongings: enough to head out for two or three days with the essentials. At 47 x 27 x 28 cm, it remains compact and easy to slip into a trunk or luggage rack. Five colors are available: black, blue, coffee, brown, and red, each revealing the material's patina effect in a different way. A weekender with retro charm, for getaways as well as business trips.

The material

Faux leather with a distressed effect

The Jammy is made from PU faux leather (polyurethane), a synthetic material that replicates the look of leather without using animal hides. Its surface has been treated to achieve a distressed effect: fine marbling, lighter and darker areas, and a slight luster give the impression of already-patinated luggage. This irregular appearance is intentional and provides the model with its character; it varies slightly from one color to another.

The interior is lined with canvas, a sturdy plain-weave fabric that protects clothing and supports the weight of a loaded bag well. The straps, shoulder strap, and metal feet complete a construction designed for regular travel.

A touch of old-fashioned trunks

The Jammy echoes the codes of old-time luggage: duffel shape, handles held by stitched straps, metal pullers, and small feet under the base. Its distressed effect gives it an instant personality like a collector's bag, far from the perfectly smooth appearance of modern luggage.

The coffee and brown are the most faithful to the vintage spirit, with a clearly visible patina; the red, deep, recalls the burgundy leathers of antique trunks; the midnight blue and black play on a more urban elegance. In our photos, it is placed on a waxed concrete floor in front of a green tile wall, alongside a magazine and an old license plate.

Heading out with the Jammy

1
Open the main dual-zipper closure along the entire length to fully access the interior.
2
Pack rolled clothing at the bottom, then shoes in a fabric bag and your toiletry kit on top.
3
Attach the shoulder strap using its snap hooks and adjust it with the sliding metal buckle.
4
Set the bag on its metal feet rather than on its side to preserve the material.
Composition and size: exterior in distressed-effect PU faux leather, canvas lining. Capacity of 20 to 35 liters, dimensions 47 x 27 x 28 cm (length x height x width). Dual handles and adjustable woven shoulder strap.
Our tip: the Jammy's distressed effect naturally hides small daily marks. To revive its luster, a simple soft, dry cloth used in circular motions is generally enough.

Good to know: the Jammy is made of faux leather (PU) and not natural leather; the color variations of the distressed effect are intentional and differ slightly from one bag to another. Avoid prolonged exposure to high heat or the sun behind glass, and do not use products intended for natural leather.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Jammy made of leather?
No, the Jammy is not made of natural leather. Its exterior is made of PU faux leather (polyurethane), a synthetic material that mimics the look of leather. It has been crafted with a distressed effect: marbling, nuances, and a slight luster that evoke luggage patinated by time. The interior is lined with canvas. This choice offers a bag with a retro style that is easier to maintain than a leather model and contains no animal materials. If you are specifically looking for a natural leather bag, this model will not meet that criterion.
What are its dimensions and capacity?
The Jammy measures 47 cm in length, 27 cm in height, and 28 cm in width, for an advertised capacity of 20 to 35 liters. This is the typical format for a weekender bag: large enough for two or three days' worth of clothes with light outfits, a toiletry kit, and a pair of shoes, but compact enough to slide into a train luggage rack or car trunk. Its flexible duffel shape adapts to what you pack and takes up no more space than necessary when not fully filled.
What is the difference between the Coffee and Brown colors?
These are two very distinct browns. The Coffee is a dark, chocolate brown whose distressed effect is very marked, with darker areas that give it the look of an old leather trunk. The Brown is lighter and warmer, in a cognac shade that catches the light and brings out the marbling. If you like a confident and discreet vintage style, the coffee is ideal; if you prefer a bright, more summery brown, the brown will be your ally. The photos of each color, visible in the selector, allow you to compare them well.
What are the metal feet for?
The base of the Jammy is equipped with small metal feet, visible in our detail photos. They create a slight gap between the bag and the ground, which protects the material from friction, moisture on a wet floor, or dust on a station platform. They also limit wear on the bottom, the area most used on a travel bag. To take full advantage of this, get into the habit of setting the bag flat on its base rather than on its side. It is a detail inherited from traditional luggage, both practical and aesthetic.
How do you carry the Jammy?
The Jammy can be carried in two ways. Its two handles, supported by straps sewn onto the bag's body, allow you to hold it by hand like classic luggage. Its shoulder strap in woven webbing, attached by snap hooks and adjustable via a sliding metal buckle, allows you to carry it on the shoulder or across the body to keep your hands free. It is practical in a station, an airport, or when you are already pulling a suitcase. Adjust its length so that the bag rests against your hip, without swinging with every step.
How do I maintain the distressed effect?
Maintaining the Jammy is simple. Dust the exterior regularly with a soft, dry cloth, then, if necessary, wipe any dirt with a slightly damp cloth before drying. Avoid solvents, alcohol, abrasive products, and creams for natural leather, which are not suitable for PU and could alter the patina effect. Do not leave the bag in direct sunlight behind glass or near a heat source. Between trips, store it empty, stuffed with paper, in a dry and ventilated place so it keeps its shape.
Is the Jammy suitable for air travel?
At 47 x 27 x 28 cm, the Jammy is a flexible weekender-style bag. Depending on the airline, it may or may not match the authorized dimensions for carry-on luggage: rules vary greatly from one carrier to another, and sometimes depend on the fare chosen. We therefore advise you to check the accepted dimensions with your airline before departure. For trains, cars, or buses, it can be stowed without difficulty in a luggage rack or trunk, and its flexibility allows it to be easily wedged between other bags.
