Frequently Asked Questions

How to choose your aroma for cigar infusion?
Aromas should be chosen according to your cigar and personal preferences. Peated whisky pairs well with full-bodied cigars (Partagas, Bolivar). Cognac goes well with round and creamy cigars (Cohiba Siglo). Coffee reinforces roasted notes. Lavender brings an unexpected floral dimension. Start with aromas closest to the profile of your cigar.
How long should it be left to infuse?
Standard infusion lasts 24 to 72 hours depending on the desired intensity. For a subtle nuance: 24h. For a pronounced aroma: 48-72h. Beyond this, the cigar may become saturated. Start short and adjust to your taste.
Is the Infusio Arcanum compatible with all cigars?
Infusion works best with medium to large ring gauge cigars (52-64 ring gauge). Very thin cigars (Lancero, Panatela) absorb less aroma. Robusto, Toro, and Churchill are the most recommended formats for infusion.
