Frequently Asked Questions
What is the GRID Optimus woven pattern?
The GRID Optimus woven pattern is an interlacing of cowhide leather strips — not a print or an embossing, but a true weaving process that creates a three-dimensional textured relief. This woven grain gives the case a distinctive visual signature, increased durability, and natural resistance to light daily scratches.
What is the difference between the GRID Optimus and the GRID Explorer?
The GRID Optimus (this page) is the 3-cigar version of the range — dimensions 19 × 9.7 × 3.3 cm, ideal for carrying a small selection on the go. The GRID Explorer is the 2-cigar version, more compact, designed for everyday use and jacket pockets. Same woven cowhide leather, same finish, same spirit — the choice depends on how many cigars you wish to carry.
Are 60-ring gauge Gordo cigars compatible with the GRID Optimus?
Yes — the GRID Optimus accepts cigars up to 25 mm in diameter. 60-ring gauge Gordos measure 23.8 mm — so they are compatible. Only formats exceeding 25 mm in diameter could cause issues. For common formats (Robusto, Toro, Corona, Churchill), compatibility is complete.
Is the gift box really included?
Yes — the GRID Optimus is delivered in an elegant box included in the price. Ready to offer upon receipt with no extra packaging needed. This is a real advantage for last-minute gifts or professional occasions.
Is the GRID Optimus a good gift for a cigar lover?
Yes — distinctive woven cowhide, textile lining, capacity for 3 cigars up to 25 mm, gift box included, and two colors to choose from. An elegant and functional travel case for the Cohiba, Montecristo, or Romeo y Julieta enthusiast who travels. Paired with a lighter and a cigar cutter, it is a complete, gift-ready cigar travel kit.
