What humidity level should I aim for in the humidor?
The ideal range is between 65% and 72% relative humidity, at a temperature of 16 to 20°C. Below that, the wrapper dries out and cracks; above that, the cigar burns poorly and risks molding. The included hygrometer allows you to monitor this level at a glance.
What water should be used for the humidifier?
Only distilled water (or a special humidifier solution). Tap water leaves limescale, clogs the humidifier, and can promote mold. Refill as soon as the hygrometer drops below 65%, usually every two to four weeks depending on the season.
